Re: Mint Polo GTI - Leather, sat nav, fsh, low miles!

Just sold my GTI to the first viewer. 'first to see will buy' as they say. Really sad to see the gti go as its been a super car to own in all respects. Thanks for the help on the forum throughout my ownership guys.

Re: Mint Polo GTI - Leather, sat nav, fsh, low miles!

That's a nice car, the wheels are amazing. Might have to get them for my 9n. I almost mistook them for diamond cut RXIIs at first glance! They look OEM with the VW centre caps. Out of interest, what size are the centre caps? Ash :) Thanks mate, got someone coming to look at the weekend so may be go...

Re: Mint Polo GTI - Leather, sat nav, fsh, low miles!

As with the wheels mate really i'd rather sell with the car, I suppose I could probably get a lot more for the items seperatly but ive then got to replace them and the car will probably be less desireable for potential buyers. here are a couple of links though if you want to look into these parts yo...

Ok this is no longer a 'feeler' this is a genuine sale.

Sensible offers around the asking price will be accepted, thanks - Martin

Re: Mint Polo GTI - Leather, sat nav, fsh, low miles!

Im not really sure about the decision. I just think its kind of now or never to buy a 'sports car' as I don't have kids yet and stuff and Ive loved the alfa gtv v6's for some time now so im thinking of changing to one. You can get a decent one for similar money to gti's. Don't get me wrong I love th...

Mint Polo GTI - Leather, sat nav, fsh, low miles!

This is just a feeler at the moment. I'm not desperate to sell but if I get the right price I am tempted. It is a 2001 Diamond Black Pearl 3 door model The car has a huge standard specification including: xenon headlamps with heated washer jets Climatronic climate control EDL - Traction Control leat...

Re: Springs and Shocks

Im on standard shocks with the eibach sportline springs and Ive not had any problems at all, I dont intend changing the shocks either unless I eventually do get problems. I suppose if money was no object the correct thing to do would be to change both the springs and shocks

Re: Springs and Shocks

The eibach sportline's will deffinatly give your polo a nice drop mate, if its only a temporary thing until you get coilovers they would certainly do the job. Infact I think you'd be so impressed you may not even want the coilovers in the end. All depends how low you wana go though I suppose. In ter...

Re: My gti - updated pics

long distance aerial shot, the gti is no match in peformance against the dad's golf gt sport tdi 170 on the drive but it does sit well :) http://i43.tinypic.com/lwait.jpg here's a better picture of the gti sill plates, bit of sun reflection on them though so not a great photo still. http://i41.tinyp...

Re: My gti - updated pics

Brief update, I saw these lupo gti sill protectors on ebay and enquired as to wether they would fit the polo, and they do. I think they look really smart, pic doesnt really do them justice because of the light, not seen them on anyone elses gti yet either so its a bit different: http://cgi.ebay.co.u...
