Re: Washing the car tomorrow: Advice please?

The second question is "Engine Machine Cleaner". . .in the instructions it shows someone HOSING the engine and then applying this stuff and rinsing it off :S Surely you can't do this? As there are wires and everything! If I apply it then how will I rinse it off without hosing the engine a...

Re: 9n3 Remap questions

Most stage one maps, Revo + APR ect are all of the same no matter what parts you got on

It wont make any difference if you fit the parts before or after unless the map is custom, not an "out of the box" one like Revo or APR stage 1

Re: Clutch

Standard is dual mass, VW quote will be for a direct replacement which will also be dual mass

I upgraded my clutch when mine started slipping to an ECS Stage 1 Clutch Kit which is single mass (14lb flywheel)

Re: Bye Bye Polo

The Polo is a lovely car, but it was too big for us, plus too expensive to run! the MPG is terrible! I think the Up! just looks like a shurnk down Polo :) Im more than happy with it :) cant wait to be in a smaller, sportier car again Surely the MPG on a 1.2 Polo can't be "terrible"? :shoc...

Quite recently, the car has been very rattly, like engine rattle Especially when its cold for the first 30-40 seconds when the auto choke is doing its business But also, every time I realease the clutch, be it when actaully changing gear or keeping in same gear and pressing then releasing clutch the...

Re: best induction set up

From what I have seen/heared.. unless you are running at something insane like Stage 3/4+ the difference between a 007p and a apr is virtually non existant

Re: H&R 35mm Springs on a 9n3 GTI?!

No issues at all, putting car back to standard as I am hoping to get rid soon for a new car. Rarther have it standard ready to go incase I see something ...
