Hi mate,

THe side and bumper strips just clip off so are easily removed and smoothed out with filler which can then be painted. Easy and cheap mod that looks ace when done properly!

The main thing im after is a four wheel drive Polo with perhaps a bigger engine in it as a 1.9 PD engine won't be suitable for four wheel drive conversion, keep your comments coming guys!

Well, now thinking about wether a 2.0 TDI conversion is worth doing, as long as i can still have my quattro

Just to open a can of worms, a tricked up 1.9 PD130 engine, once you've sorted fuelling out can do 270BHP+ with a bit of head work and a GTB2260VK. I'd think it'd weigh much less than the 3 litre unit too...there's my 2 pence anyway. 2.0 TDI 16v engines have even more potential, without the weight ...

Bit of a tall order there mate. Can i sugest for the brakes go for mk4 r32 brakes they stop me bros golf good enough he got 108% effecny on mot. They are standerd disc and pads. Anyway good luck with this
