6n lights are the same shape and fit as 6n2`s except the bottom edge sticks out slightly more (about 6mm) on the 6n2s. I know coz i acquired some for my fiancee`s mk4. they fit straight on, except the rhs wiring needs swapping round otherwise the brake light becomes the indicator or something. The ...

don`t know if they`ll fit but a mate of mine suggested Golf G60 front brakes and calipers, 288mm. guess i`d need to change the hubs and bits, anyone any ideas??

they charge £59 per hour for labour which is a real bargain ain`t it.
before anyone starts i know the spanner monkeys dont get paid that and its down to the overheads of nice shiny showrooms and well equiped workshops etc... but it does take the mick somewhat.

now where did i leave my haynes ...

the dealers can sell them for what they like, or at least try to but when it comes to giving you a sensible price trade in you`ve got no chance. I was offered 6250 against an import S3 at 18k, i laughed at the salesman, told him if he offered me about 10k for my polo i might think about it. i left ...

looks like i`m gonna have to bite the bullet, or at least the vw parts man and buy the standard stuff after all. i suppose i`ve had the car 3 yrs and the stds have worked ok so far, i haven`t piled into a wall or a volvo...
