Oh gosh, that is sweet looking^^ Were the bulbs HID/ xenon-coloured? The sandstorm thing made me laugh a lill :P thanks joz, the bulbs now are between the stock yellow and HID. a cleaner yellow i guess. and the dust here comes so sudden, i wake up one morning and the car is coated with it but wheel...

a few updates! i have reverted back to the oem bumper with colour coded front valance, oem headlights with the foglamps again. all with slatted grills and the badge has returned! the rear has its original red tail lights, blackened rear tow hook and the gti rear valance had its exhaust notch filled ...

yes it could be painted, but its not very reversible. what some people have done is to re-use the original red strip, and to remove the clips and glue it onto the badgeless one with good results.
