Re: Replacing cracked Mirror Indicator
Very easy! They cost about £30 from VW, or even Skoda as the MK2 Octavia has the same wing mirrors You need to remove the wing mirror cover and mirror glass, then there is two tiny torx screws holding the indicator unit to the wing mirror, undo those and unplug the indicator, then pop the new one ba...

Re: Best Xenon style Halogen bulb.
If you want to actually improve light output rather than being a chump with super white lights then go for osram nightbreaker plus. Ive just fitted a pair to the volvo and the improvement is well worth the small outlay. Agreed, put some in my last Polo and they made the old bulbs look like tea cand...

Re: knocking from passengers side
Sounds a lot like what mine was doing, the bolt was on a little loose but the lower arm was moving and the noise was transferring through the whole subframe making it sound really violent

Re: knocking from passengers side
Check subframe bolts and lower arm bolts, mine were ever so slightly loose and made an awful noise when setting off
Did you change the dogbone mount too?

Re: Abs fault possible abs pump
Is the abs light on? Check the little strip fuses on top of the battery, if it's anything like a 9n the fuse breaks bringing on the ABS light

Re: Spark Plug & CV Joint 9n3 Help Please
NGK PFR6Q are the OEM plugs, think you can get copper ones which are meant to be better but won't last as long
As for the joint, genuine is probably your best bet, you know it's right and you know it's going to be good quality! Eurocarparts probably do a non genuine one

16" Steels, 007P
Need to sell some bits on! First up is some genuine 5x100 16" steels from an 04 Beetle. In very good condition for their age, they do have rushy patches but it is to be expected on steel wheels. Tyre wise they are all 205/45/16, two of them are Kumho winter tyres that I've owned for about 3 yea...
