all i used was a hair dryer and some fishing line behind the badge to help it off, its just stuck on with like double sided tape

Are you talking about a 9N pal? I went out with a hair-dryer and tried to get mine off... No joy! Im 100% sure its not held on with adhesive. If I forcefully was to pry ...

Does the rear badge of a 9N come off quite easily? I bit of heat maybe?

Im not 100% sure if its held on with adhesive??
