Re: 6c GTI lowering springs

I've put h&r 25/40 springs on my bluegt, spaced around 10-12mm each corner, not slammed but looks pretty smart & oem i reckon

Re: so no one knowes

I know general pressure for the fronts are 44psi and rears are 41psi.... there is another option for 'comfort' pressure with a couple psi less in each tyre

This should all be on the inner face of the fuel filler cap??? unless vw forgot to stick one on yours lol

Re: Lowering

Its lowered on the 25/40 h&r kit and the rear wheels are spaced out by 15mm.... I have 10mm spacers for the fronts too, just need to get another set of longer wheelbolts :)

Re: Lowering

I personally think Polos come out of factory sitting too high- especially at the rear... compared to a Golf gti the polo looks like its on stilts, far too much arch gap which makes all the difference with respect to the aesthetics of a car in my opinion. I also hate having too much body roll around ...

Re: Blue GT: 2-cyl mode, or lower revs?

Lol its all subjective, I test drove the polo blue gt equipped with dsg, didnt like it much, a little jerky and indecisive at times... In the Mk7 golf R that i test drove with dsg however, i loved it, in my opinion, dsgs can only really be fully appreciated in higher powered cars.

As for changing ...

BlueGT pulls right harshly under heavy braking

Right, this is a bit of an odd one... I've owned my polo for 3 weeks now, and it has been doing this since the first day.

At around national speed limit, on a straight, flat stretch of road, if i brake hard the car will dip its nose as it breaks (obviously) then harshly pull to the right lifting ...

Re: My BlueGT finally here!

Front foglights come as standard on all Bluegts now regardless of spec, no need for light and sight pack in that regard

Re: Very Annoyed!

Gutted for you, thats properly bad luck. Surely you should be able to have both xenons and the alcantara specced in for free after such hassle, especially considering the hassle you went through with delivery time too

Re: My BlueGT finally here!

Thanks for the positive comments guys, it was weird when i was moving the two cars around to take photos, jumping in and out of a 35 year old car and one just a few days old... surprisingly the mk1 doesnt feel so bad in comparison to the 6c, its actually very easy to drive, mainly down to its low ...

Re: A1 pedal covers - Fitting

I didn't need any for the accelerator pedal myself, however it was quite difficult to get it to fit snug. Once its on properly and the rubber lip has secured around the pedal properly it shouldn't really come off....

My BlueGT finally here!

Hi guys!

Ordered this Polo last october, was told i should have it mid january, a month later and its finally here :) Really pleased with it so far, done a 300 mile round trip a couple days ago, plenty enough power and very refined, an opportunity to use the nav too which i found to be brilliant ...

not sure on costs, but if you choose to buy a replacement bare in mind that the gti and bluegt share the same bumpers
