Re: Air con function?

Hi, Newbie here so hello all and here my first post.. :) Just a quick question on the functioning of the Air con. Can't make my mind up if mines working ok, or just working differently to what was in my 9N1 polo. All the dials are identical to the layout in my old Polo, however seem to operate slig...

I agree overall look is great and could be improved by diamond cutting the front surfaces of the wheels which would still give the contrast with the Red and black of the car but enhance the wheels and bring the finish bang up to date 8)

I agree if this had been an option when I ordered mine a year ago I would have gone for it as it would have matched the RCD510 which I have.

Re: 17" Boavista Alloys

I agree black is now over done and I too have never been a fan. If you want to colour them go for Metallic grey or anthracite as this looks really effective against the White of the car 8)

Re: New GTI - retrofitting?

You must have one that was already on the system with your exact spec probably a cancelled order from another dealer or something like that. Any way that's good news for you :D You can retro fit the RCD510 from what I have read on other threads on here is that it can be easily fitted and just needs ...

Re: New member - GTI ordered.

Second purchase will be a shiny new RNS510 Rev C (LED) with built in bluetooth and video in motion thanks to another mate off another forum. He'll also fit it for me and it'll work with the MFSW I ordered with the car. 8) All for the cost of the RNS310 too - yippeeeee! I didn't like the OEM offerin...

Re: Side Skirt - Pics Added

Unfortunately there's non rear skirt for the GTI.. SO i guess the front and side will have to do for now.. As an option you could try the BlueMotion skirts as these are not as deep as the body kit skirts and this might help blend the front spoiler in better with the back GTI rear bumper? You could ...

Re: New Polo DRL's ?

Saw a 6R Polo BlueMotion on the dual carriage way and front DRL's were on (next to the fogs) then I followed it and the rears were not on, so the BM's are different to the rest of the halogen equipped models.

Re: Using Oil!

Keep us informed about what happens next? Has your car just started using more oil suddenly or has it gradually used more as the miles have increased?

Re: Using Oil!

Hmm, that is heavy oil consumption and sounds like the same as a few others have had. Mine has been for an oil check and used a lot less than a litre in 500 miles. I believe if the engine uses more then 600 ml in 500 miles then VW will want to investigate further. How many miles has your car done now?
