Re: are these the right ones?

Yup, but you will need 205/45/16 tyres NOT 205/55/16, 55 fitment is for the golf, so seeing as they come without tyres, make sure when u buy rubber for the wheels its the 205/45/16s :)

Re: Speed Camera

The other annoying twist to the tale is my V5 is registered to my student house in Newcastle, and I have moved over the summer but stupidly haven't got around to sending off the V5 with my change of address....I posted it today but obviously Bank Holiday today so it will take a few days to get to th...

Speed Camera

I have, I believe, fallen foul to a cursed yellow box.  I wasn't on the ball at all yesterday morning, and think I got done by one of those new Trevelo speed cameras, the ones that point AT you and use infra-red (no white flash). The problem is, when I hit the brakes I was doing about 45...

BUMP for those wheels, so nice. If I didn't have Monza's I'd snap them up!

Re: Any interest in complete front fog lamp retrofit kits?

Still a possibility doing it on my car come September Ash when I'm back up North we could put a kit(t) (ha) together and photograph is step-by-step so we could provide the instructions and a how-to guide to installing the fogs. I know the OE headlight switch isn't very expensive and wouldn't save a ...

Re: Value My Car // Thinking about selling...

Yeah its definitely something I'd considered, and especially if I got another polo as the replacement I'd want to swap a lot of the bits over anyway. I will 100% sell Monza's seperately as they cost me a fair bit, and I've kept them in pristine condition (get cleaned more often than the whole car!) ...

Nah that's not Votex, the Votex incorporates the high level brake light in it... that looks more like either ICC or Reiger one, not too sure tbh!

Re: Brighter Sidelight LEDs?

The 15-LED Tower lights from HIDsdirect or ultraled's are very bright and very blue - they are WHITE LEDs but look blue in comparison to Xenon Bulbs, but am told they are a good colour match to 6k and 8k HIDs.

Value My Car // Thinking about selling...

......So the time has come where I need to part with my beloved dub because I need a bigger car and a diesel for the hundreds of motorway miles I'm now doing. I shan't be going far, I'll be looking at a TDI in a Polo or a Golf, and possibly Ibiza's and A3's...... Ideally would want a GT TDI Golf Mk ...

Re: Blue VW steering badge on Polo 9n, Rare?!

Agreed, 4 spoke wheel looks dated, and you can get the three-spokes wheels off 9n3's pretty easily for not too much money - but be warned the airbag is a different shape so you will need a new airbag too - and these can set you back a fair bit, otherwise it would have been one of the first things I'...

Re: *My 9n Progress Thread* NEW LIGHTS - PAGE 4

Not the same wheel now I look at it, I dont think I got an after picture of the kerbed one but I found out that the kerbing is actually almost un-noticeable once the wheels clean, as alot of its definition came from embedded brakedust in the grooves in the alloy where it scraped. Still, chuffed with...
