1.2TSI 105PS. Water Pump replacement ?
Hi guys. Has anyone replaced the water pump on the 1.2TSI ? Mine's a 60 plate car (2010). Is there a guide anywhere. I just got charged £162 to basically have the oil/filter changed, so don't fancy having my trousers pulled down again !!! I have my own garage with a pit, so good access under ...

Re: Wheel bearings
That's brilliant Joe. Thanks mate. Now I can see exactly what is needed.
Has anyone done this without the fancy hub puller in the video ? That looks expensive for a one off job !

Wheel bearings
My 6R TSI has been lowered now for about 3 years and the wheel bearings at the front have finally given up the ghost !!! http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/271603694762?_trksid=p2060778.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT Has anyone changed theirs ? Looking at the pics on Ebay, it looks like you si...

Re: Porsche Wheel Fitment
You'll never be able to use the standard Porsche size tyres mate, sorry. Your standard tyres (assuming they are 15") will be 185mm wide. That means if you were to use the Porsche rears you'd be using an extra 70mm tyre width. Also remember, the middle part of a tyre size, (ie, the '40' on the ...

Re: Porsche Wheel Fitment
If you use 30mm adapters, you will be reducing the offset to 20mm. Which will mean the wheels will be sticking out past the arch. I have wheels with 35mm offset and they are at the arch. Personally, I would go for 15mm adapters (giving you a 35mm offset), but these are quite slim and doesn't give yo...

Re: GTi Xenon Lights In Non Gti
Fitted xenons to my 1.8T Golf without the washers, etc and never had a problem at MOT.
To fit them you will need the lights (obviously) and a pair of ballasts to get them going. You may need to adapt the wiring for the ballasts. But as already said, it costs a fortune, for not a lot of gain TBH.

Good news, better than the previous £600 odd notes, which sounded like robbery. Any ideas why it just decided to pop ?

Re: Springs
Hi mate, mine sits on 25/40 H&R springs. The wheels aren't tucked right up in the arches, but I like the way it looks as it retains a bit of cred for a more mature driver !! Not overly lowered. But as you can see, it's not a GTI. But the springs are the same from H&R. You might need t...

Re: New Member. R-line 1.2 TSI 90hp 119gr.
cicli, your English is far better than my Spanish !! Personally, I would rather see a 200+ps "R Line" car and to hell with the emissions, but I guess as this Polo is so good looking and refined compared to the older generation of Polo's (no offence to owners - I have owned two MK2's myself...

Re: New Member. R-line 1.2 TSI 90hp 119gr.
It is difficult to know because the 1.2 tsi is not available for the UK market. I also did not know that in UK taxes were avoided CO2 emissions, thanks for the information. ??????????? yes of course the 1.2TSI is availale in the UK, I have a 105PS 1.2TSI. I can see why the 90ps is the option though...
