Re: Sprint booster, anyone tried one?
You'll already have a proper front ARB fitted, and the one you get in the kit is probably uprated. Up to you if you want the front end to be stiffer, but since the back end is a torsion beam and if it's carried anything over from the 9n3 it slops around on the slightest bend, a rear ARB will act as ...

Re: Sprint booster, anyone tried one?
I wouldn't throw more money under the bonnet, especially on pedal-tampering contraptions such as this. Mine probably has similar power even though it's a lump but I don't really find myself wanting/needing more, that's just the social status quo to want 'moar powaa'. Enjoy the car and the engine for...

Re: Sprint booster, anyone tried one?
A remap would be your best bang-for-your-buck upgrade, have they got reliable maps for the 1.2 yet? A few handling mods would be good as well, a RARB if you haven't already got one, keep the back end level :) A 1.2 is never going to be a traffic light dragster but you can still have loads of fun in ...

Re: Sprint booster, anyone tried one?
Don't worry I'm sure it'll cost plenty :P it probably acts just like a cheap tuning box for engines in that it fools the car's sensor into thinking you've mashed the pedal to 75% of the way down when you've only feathered it. It's just like getting into a different car with a more sensitive throttle...

Re: PD160 Cold Air Intake
I wouldn't have thought this would fit at first but looking at some pics of the bay it looks as if the slam panel on the 6r tdi is the same as the 9n3 gti/tdi. The trumpet would probably fit but the question is has the airbox inlet hole changed significantly between models? Someone with ETKA might b...

Re: Drum Brake Pantage!
Hammerite do a paint called Direct To Rust which is great for unprotected metal and is designed to be painted on rusty surfaces. A bit of surface prep mainly to get the loose rust off and that's all you need, a brass brush (like a toothbrush) is ideal. Apparently it's primer, colour and top coat all...

Don't forget ebay take 10% plus you've got to wait X amount of days for the auction to end. I'm after a quick sale and just looking to get back what I paid.

I have that, it's called a handbrake.

Re: Facelift Polo 6R spotted.
The light pattern especially in the centre 'dot' is now squared off, they've also slightly changed the light pattern on the right-angled bit.
The rad grill looks a bit crap because they've taped over the DRLs/fogs for some reason..
