Some subs accept speaker level inputs, or you can get speaker level-to-RCA adapter boxes. You splice them into your existing speaker loom at the back of the stereo and it converts into RCA for the sub. Some adapter models also have a remote switch built in which is even more useful.
Hope this helps

Re: Polo 1.4 Tdi?
Hello and welcome to the forum Having driven both 1.9 and 1.4 I still think the 1.4 is pretty nippy and feels lighter. I would have thought the 1.4 would shake due to being a 3 cyl but I didn't notice anything. I'm pretty sure the difference between the 70, 75 and 80 is purely the ecu software decid...

Re: Quick Answer : Remove Rear Seats on 9n3
Push them (either forward or back) and the latch that the notch is in will retract and lift out the backrest rod at the same time, which can then be lifted out. don't worry it's sturdy!

Re: Quick Answer : Remove Rear Seats on 9n3
Fold the rear bench down, in either far corner you'll see a metal latch with a 5mm notch in it, you use a screwdriver or similar in the notch to push the latch which releases the seat bar and lifts it up. Then slide the seat out of the other side. Repeat for the other side of the bench. HTH

Re: Olympic Blue TDi Sport - heater dials, painted calipers
Hey mate, thanks for your reply. The armrests aren't available in the UK either. It was a special order from VW Shanghai as they seem to be the only company that do them. A member on here, Beijing Polo sorted a few of us out :) it won't be cheap with the shipping and import taxes etc but it's worth ...

Re: Sub power leads
Right up under the passenger footwell where the carpet is vertical, pull that back and there should be a grommet with a wire already going through it, I poked a small hole in the grommet along side the wire and fed the power wire through. Worked fine for me!

Re: polo gti hubs.. and brakes on 1.6 sport
Yeah, the 9n3 GTi, 9n3 pd130, 9n GT, Fabia Vrs, Seat Ibiza FR tdi all have 288mm front discs and therefore have the hubs with seperate carriers which allows you to bolt on bigger brakes. The hubs for 256mm discs have carriers built in which means you're stuck with the same size disc.

Re: polo gti hubs.. and brakes on 1.6 sport
This is true, if you want fronts bigger than 256mm you'll need GTI/ PD130 hubs. Not sure about golf mk4 hubs I'm afraid.
Just so you know, the brakes on the GTI are 288mm, people with GTIs can simply bolt on 312s because they have the correct hub.
Hope this helps.

Re: Engine wire tuck/clean up
Here's a thread with some good info
http://www.golfmk6.com/forums/showthread.php?t=46597
If it were me I'd just paint it matt black or something to make it less noticable, but keep a vertical gap somewhere so I could still read the level.
