i dunno about it anymore..., iv seen some other black gti's around and kinda liking the tidy silver chrome badge look:), thinking of getting some of them as mine are pretty wrecked now..., also gonna debadge the rear gti and just keep the front grill gti badge:), hoping to get some coilovers for it ...

sorry for the late reply... have not really been on here lately, and tbh didnt really want the fuss of putting it all back together:), iv cleaned it all up and its pretty shiny black now:), was easier then re spraying it, and tbh i did it originally as a test never through it would turn out any good...

haha that i did:) gave it all it had:), the insurance was £25 so wasnt too bad.... cheers for the advice:), my brother was on about that today, saying the reasons why you pay more for the K&N filter's are that they last alot longer and are reusable if cleaned with the right kit, so gonna pick up the cleaner+re oiler tomorrow maybe for around £15 from halfords and maybe a coupl...

Haha thankyou:) i wasnt sure if the price i paid was good or bad but from what i heard it wasn't a bad price:), yeah i was debating weather i do it or not just had to trust the suction cup haha:), just be sure to have it quite far out because the second time i tried it i had it right next to the bum...

ah thats the thing i was using admiral, they were wanting £3300 even when we phoned them up, with my dad's name on the quote with his 25+ years no claims;/, its stupid so iv now had to think about selling the polo;/, and yeh i saw that box thing but that wasn't really my cup of tea, cheers for the h...

Hey just been looking at your thread, i too own a Polo 1 litre E Y reg, im 17 and looking to get it insured but the insurance companys are killing me!, they are wanting £4700 for 10months!, even with my dad as a named driver!, its stupid have you got insured and how much and where did you get insure...
