which fuse box is the washer motor in? the one under the steering wheel? the one under steering wheel mentioned bye OP seems to be the hazards on mine? :s

Got a link to the sidelights youve got Nmavs? Also the number plate lights they look abit OTT bright in the HIDS4U photo, i take it thats just the photo?

Checked mine today, after 400 miles it was halfway down the hatchings, but it took very little oil to get it to full again, so proof that the dipstick is not linear.

Apart from that, all seems ok, but sooty exhaust pipes as normal.


Mine took 1600 miles to get half way on the dipstick, 6 weeks ...

How many litres of oil are in the engine? checked mine today (61 plate with new bottom end, apparently) used half in 1600miles

Whats the VWR exhaust though, just a cat back?

I thought the VW racing springs were actually just GTi springs, no?

More importantly, did they really just call that a supercar?

Im getting more creaks by the day now, also got a very annoying rattling of the plastics around the DSG stick, can hear it over the radio even at 40% volume.
How would i go about these issues with VW do i just go down or ring up first?

As above, just wondering those with GTI's how do you find the comfort/quiteness when city driving? Ive only had my gti 5 or so weeks now and it sounds like my old 6 year old corsa did - a crack in the road or joining mark any deeper than a whisker seems to have one thing or another creaking or ...

Finally picked this up last friday following a 3 month wait, absolutely love it
