That could work but you need to calculate/approximate the volumes/level to ensure a proper fill. can you confirm which scanners exactly you have used and are they known to be good (i.e. work on another VAG vehicle)? only time I had a problem was a cheap product with a cable issue. are you sure the shift lock is working/releasing correctly (is there a click when on the brake pedal)?

what engine is that and what is the odometer reading?

Whilst the wheels/tyres will fit you still need to inform your insurer as this is a non-factory fit.

Not sure why you would want to do that. What do you hope to gain? The standard tyres are good enough and help return better mpg. They always seem to fail in poor weather. My n/s side lamp failed just before the xmas holiday. Not wanting to get my hands cold I went to Halfords and paid for the service. The 'long life' bulb failed a few weeks ago and they were good enough to replace it foc.

I've reset the DTCs and the engine check light has not yet returned. I suppose I should scan to see if the code has returned. Otherwise, I noticed that fuel consumption had increased. I'm hoping that will return to the very good 44-48mpg I'm achieving.
