Cheers lads! 8)

Ballyhoo, the grill is actually second hand! Saw an advert in the back of this month's VW driver, showing it. The ad said it's as good as brand new (the lad has swapped his Polo for a Golf Turbo - git), and he's had it sprayed in Diamond Black Pearl - it was made for me! I simply ...

Bye bye New Polo...

...and hello New Polo!

Trading in my black 3 door 1.2 E 55bhp for a metallic black 3 door 1.2 Twist 65bhp this week, lovely jubbly!

Decided to do the swap after I got a local company to fit leccy windows to my current Polo, but unfortunately they managed to botch it up a bit. So, the car is being ...

A fairly straightforward install by the sounds of things then?

I think they'd look rather pukka on my black Polo. Gonna sort out lowering first though. 8)

EDIT: Just noticed that 'Performance Polo' sticker in the back window. What's all that about? :?

Actually, I quite like those lights!

Much better than the previous set I saw floating round here, with the plastic divisions between each light.

Oh, this is depressing.

Best I've had is 290 miles...and that was with her running on fumes! Mind you, only done about 2200 in total I 'spose.

And it takes about £37 of SUL to brim the b1tch.

Apparently, the 65bhp version gives slightly better fuel economy. Looking at my figures, I can't imagine ...

True, you do notice a slight drop in performance when there's two of you, but when there's five of you, it's just plain embarressing. And not just in acceleration...you have to plan braking manouveres a couple of miles before you get to them!

Good example of tw@ish driving!

Sorry about the harsh language, but I really am quite peeved off about this one, probably because it was rather embarressing for me!

About 10 minutes ago, just leaving town (Hereford), with some beat up old F reg Rover in front (can't remember model), with a middle-aged bloke and presumably, his ...

No cabin rattles at all...built like a rock. 8)

Only gripe is that the suspension occasionally sort of groans when the car wobbles (not that the car does wobble much, ofcourse  ).
