Hi guys,
So I thought I'd add some more photo's to this thread as the car is still up for grabs. After being messed about a bit by a couple of people now hopefully these pic's will hope to show the condition of the car.
Cheers
Steve

*BUMP*
Price now dropped to £2k ono. I'm not going to give the car away but do want to get things moving with my new business now, so could do with moving the car on. Admins please accept my apologies if your not allowed to bump posts for this sort of thing. If it's not OK let me know and I won't ...

2000 W 6N2 GTI Reflex Silver 3 Door *now sold*
Hi All,
Unfortunately it seems my Polo ownership is going to be cut extremely short :( . I have to say I'm gutted to have to move this car on as I've literally bought it, done 1000 miles, and taxed it. I lost my job just before Christmas. Thats the 2nd Christmas on the trot I've been made redundant ...

Re: Heated seat part numbers
Righteo fella, you'll need to get the switches off TPS. (Remember them retailing at around £40 per switch if I recall correctly, that was over a year ago and that was at retail price.. not sure how much now) In terms of the wiring loom, its £42 from kufatec. ( clicky here! ) Simples :)

Heated seat part numbers
Hi all,
Thought I'd put this in here as this part of forum gets more traffic. I don't mind if the mods want to move it though.
So today's hot topic for me is. Does anyone know the part numbers for the heated leather loom, switches, relays etc from the polo?
As some Of you know I have Neil's old ...

Re: So I've joined the club
At one point I had an RE SE12 sub hooked up to a DSL A5 Amp, With Rainbow conponents up front, that was a lovely setup. Then I found I needed use of the boot more so went to a Genesys Profile 2 powering the rainbows. I sold the sub and A5 amp.

Re: Fan kicked in second I started the car :-/
Makes sense. Bloody annoying thought, sounds like the cars map is all over the place and it's hunting on idle. I think I might try a new fan to see if that solves the issue. Thats another job on the list :/alexperkins wrote:Fan draws like 180W on full pelt, so it will raise the revs due to the increased draw

Re: Fan kicked in second I started the car :-/
The reason I asked about the air con, is if the resistor in the fan fails, the fan cannot run at its slow speed and as a result the air con rad heats up really quickly and the fan ends up on full blast almost immediately as it can't run on a slow speed
Its a new fan if so.

Re: So I've joined the club
The door handels are a 2 minuet job. Open the door and take out the screw that lines up with the handles. They then just slot out.
You'll find the doors have abit of Dynamat in then when you come to fit the comps, Also if you pull back the rubber door seal next to where the main wiring loom goes ...

Re: So I've joined the club
Didn't have much time today but manage a little tinkering. Fitted black 'VW' badge and grill trim. Doesn't look to bad even if I do say so myself. Nothing that hasn't been seen here before so once I figure out how to get pictures up I'll get one on here. Also fitted replacement centre caps. Again I ...

Re: 2012 MOT Changes
I thought the 6N2 came with Xenon (same as HID's right??) from the factory? If so they can't fail your MOT for it surely?
Not entirely sure how they plan to enforce the electrical wiring security one as they'd have to rip apart peoples cars to get to the wiring behind the dash etc?

Re: My GTI
Yeah lol, going for green under the bonnet and the brakes too. Nothing too extreme.
I want the car looking nice and normal and then when the bonnet is lifted a nice little eye-catcher! :D
The green LEDs are to replace the red ones for when the car is locked and they flash.
