Right guys looking for some help! Please bear with me as I'm not technical in anyway, ha!

So, my clutch cable snapped whilst driving a couple of weeks ago (a week after buying the car!). I had a new one put in and adjusted, so it was at the perfect biting point for me. I drove it about 4 miles ...

I'll keep my eye out for it! When I see cars like it, I'm so tempted to leave them and note and ask, 'What on earth were you thinking?'

I've just had another update on the Polo, after being fully checked over.

So apparently...the back brakes weren't even working. Therefore I've had all new brake discs and pads. I only drove it 150 miles all the way to Huddersfield like that. I've also had a new battery and a re-conditioned ...

I don't think so no!
I saw another Silver GTI the other night, with the number plate ending UAT?
I can't believe I've never seen any and now I've seen 2 within a week ha :')

Off home to collect the GTI tomorrow, will be back around Hudds on Saturday

Saw another Silver GTI in Huddersfield yesterday. After saying I've never seen another one, that's 2 I've seen within a week ha!

So the Polo has been looked over...yet more bad news.
They've re-adjusted the clutch cable as it had slackened off on the first drive. They found a bent bolt somewhere either on the clutch or between the clutch cable and the clutch? No idea. Apparently it would have been caused by the impact of the ...

I've got a definite feeling this one should have been sold with a trailer haha! Thank you! I hope it does all pay off, because at the moment I do just want to get rid. I don't have the time to be faffing around trying to get it fixed right now with uni work :( I don't have the money either, if it's going to be something major!

I haven't been able to get any decent photos yet, as I haven't really had chance to properly drive it :( The only places it's been are my driveway and uni accommodation ...

P.s. So, had the clutch cable on the Polo fitted. Everything was fine and dandy. Drove like a dream, the clutch was so much lighter under my foot than before it snapped, beautiful.

That sucks dude! Well, I'm hoping this is the last thing now for a while, as I am super skint. Managed to get a clutch cable for £28 on trade, thanks to my flat mate and his handy contacts. Should be picking it up tomorrow and having it fitted either tomorrow, or on the weekend, phew. I'll be back ...
