Hi, It could be one of several things but you give an inadeuate description for anyone to help you. Does your car have electric or manual windows? How old is the car? I'm pretty sure when I did mine I literally jus used my nails to get it off haha, easy. Those holes are where I screwed the spoiler to hold it in place to seal it or watever but the clips on the spoiler clip in perfectly. whole thing is alot easier than expected
