hi, the timing chain slipped on a 9n polo engine code bme, i got a different engine from the scrap yard, it looked exactly the same, apart from no egr valve, i installed the engine but it didnt run correctly, revs limited to 3000rpm and developed misfire, i now think the replacement engine is a bzg ...
