They are not installed in my new MY13 GTI 6r. I'm quite disappointed in this, as they were fitted as standard to my older, "lesser" MY12 TSI.

If it were me, I would go for the oryx white one and try and strike a deal. Suprised that an August car still has a CAVE engine. Despite improvements always go for the later spec.

Yes - newer cars have the CTHE engine designation (From May 2012), even those have had subtle revisions to combat high oil consumption but it is much improved over the early CAVE engines.
