Re: Missfire and terminal 30 codes....

Re: Missfire and terminal 30 codes....
Ok ill take a look. I can take a picture of the screen and post it seeing as I have a 'stand alone' scanner rather than a pc programme to be able to screenshot it but I'm nowhere near a pc at the moment to do that. I did a readiness test today and it came up as a fail on the o2 sensor. Could this be...

Re: Missfire and terminal 30 codes....
ok cool, what do the earth straps look like and whats the best way of getting to them? i've replaced the camshaft sensor, and that got rid of the DTC for that, i disconnected my sub and now its not showing a terminal 30 code anymore. the missfire codes are still there, but its fine until i rev it up...

Re: Missfire and terminal 30 codes....
Saying that, I was having a poke around today and plugged it in again and it came up with camshaft postion sensor signal too high. So I'll replace that and see what happens

Re: Key Programming?
Ah ok, makes sense. thanks. the place i got the blanks cut out (timpsons) say they can chip new keys, although these fobs look harder than Fort Knox to get into! Saying that, i watched countless videos on youtube, browsed various forums etc, and had an idea. so i put the original key in the ignition...

Re: My polo mk5 1.4 8v
i'm afraid i agree with the others, but what we can agree on is the fact that it's your car, your way and that is respected. i think the wheels are too big myself, but as we say, that's just my opinion. smaller wheels and a stance to match would make this look better imo

Re: An Introduction :)
haha fair enough, here's a couple, but they're not particularly detailed. not had the car long, it's just sat in the drive at the moment waiting for a couple of weeks until i can drive it. it's a 1.4 8v with just under 63k on the clock. i bought it with some rubbish looking cheap halfrauds hubcaps, ...

An Introduction :)
Hi guys, hope i'm in the right place! just a quick intro really as i'm new on here. i've been looking at this site for a while now for hints and tips with my new car (51 plate 6N2) after having having been banned from driving for 14 months. my old car was a mk3 polo CL and it served me very well ind...
