Strange hazard light behaviour
If I close the door on exiting but don’t lock it when I return and open the door the hazard lights flash, they continue to until I either blip the unlock button or turn the ignition on. This seems to happen after about 15 minutes of leaving the car unlocked. It doesn’t happen at 5 or 10 minutes but ...

Has anyone found auto headlights on 6c
There seems to be various auto headlamp conversion switch and sensor kits on eBay. I bought one this week which partly works, the auto facility works but I couldn’t get the fog lamps to work and the switch itself when locked into position in the dash was a bit out of line. There are 2 main types for...

Blue GT servicing question.
The GT is 2 and half years old and on 21,000 miles. The "oil change due 800 miles" has come on. What service can I expect to pay for based on the age and mileage. I'm baffled by the VW servicing plans. Also what is a likely cost for the service. If it's ridiculous given there's only 6 mont...

Re: Problem with the brand new Polo Match
We are going to get it booked in at the local dealers, they have been pretty good with a couple if faults on it while he's owned it so see how they do with this. I will update on here as and when I have anything

Re: Problem with the brand new Polo Match
Has any progress been made with this. My lad has a 1.4TSI GT blue. It is making what I think is the noise you describe. I heard it first of all whilst sitting in the car, a very light buzzing type noise but when I lifted the bonnet it is a distinctive buzz/rattle which is coming from the top of the ...

Re: Spring faults found on GT
I suppose that could be one solution. Most garages use the pad type body lifts. Good service from the dealer though

Spring faults found on GT
We took the GT for a warranty repair today, the heater divert flap motor had gone faulty, also it was due an oil service. Our local dealer did the work and a safety check at the same time. They did the usual video record of the check and highlighted that both rear coil springs had become unseated fr...

So no reprogramming of systems required or additional wiring into BCM etc, just plug and play

Re: Anybody tried this VW Auto Headlight Light Sensor Switch?
Are there any updates on this installation. What is the tfl pin? I'm looking at buying one if these kits but there seems to be various levels of wiring and reprogramming required with different ones.
We have a 12 months old blueGT if that helps towards the answer

Re: Auto headlights (after market)
I've read quite a few threads on these. Can anyone clarify what additional wiring etc needs to be done. I'm guessing it's not as simple as plug and play. Some threads mention wiring into the BCM module, others installing relays. Then recoding through vcds Are there different versions of these some e...

Re: Polo GTi or GT
Hey, I hope I can help. I am (funnily enough) 20 years old aswell! I also have a 6C Blue GT (150PS) and absolutely love it! I've just had it over a year now and I can say it has never given me any problems. At 20 especially, a small 1.4 engine that gives you 150BHP is more than enough! If you or yo...
