ya that is a Carbon fibre bonnet guard or stone chip protector.
the intake works like a charm and the dump sound is awesome!!
i want to do full exhaust but ive heard the guys in SA say that you dont get much gains from it?

@Yeahhluke - Thanks bud, most guys in SA do this type of intake as we dont have any store available intakes... 
but it works very well and gives a nice loud dump sound
@J-Dan - Hey bud, its a CF lookalike bonnet guard, much like the bonet bra, but just a plastic version
