For sale is my K&N Typhoon Induction Kit to fit the 1.6 16v Polo GTI from years 99-02


The kit is in good condition and hasn't been used in 6 months.

I'm only getting about 28MPG on average!

I live in Milton Keynes though and only have a short commute to work, usually about 7 miles.

Would this be a problem or just the usual? Its all stop start town driving.

I had the same issue when chosing my exhaust.

I ended up getting a custom Powerflow exhaust from Top Gear Aylesbury. I just asked to have exactly the same style as before (hidden behind the bumper) but with a nicer tone.

Polos need to be more respected at these shows now, lack of them and the influx of A4s on air is getting to me a bit...

I had exactly this, couldn't diagnose it exactly but I found it's something called 'Coil slap', where the spring doesn't sit in the seat properly.

There was no easy fix, I just sold on my FK AK Streets and moved over to JOMs, no issues for the past 8 months!

Shame, Would have happily had those seats off you!

Still got the exhaust and the interior?
