Btw guys it was a faulty bulb, the seller sent me a new one for free which fixed the problem!

Ah ok, dont really know much about this kind of thing :L i'll see how it goes and if anything happens again i'll see about changing the bulbs, thanks for the responses though!

Ok so to update, i went outside this morning to see if i could fix the problem but it had fixed itself, coul it of been the bulb overheating or my ground getting wet perhaps? It was only 1 full beam this time but i would like to know what was wrong, i wouldn't want worse happening next time like all ...

hi guys, was wondering if anybody who knows a bit about hid's could help me, basically the problem is that the passenger side bulb wont switch to high beam, its h4's, i see the bulb try to move but it only moves slightly, the driver one works fine! Any help at all would be great, thanks

Hi guys i've had my polo for a little while but new to the forum so far i've added 17" matt black caliber pro 7's, hid kit, black plasti dip'd my rear badge and am waiting on a gti grill and i'll spray that badge black too.

As far as i am aware the polo s, polo s A/C and the bluemotion have h4's, the rest are h7's

I have winter tyres on 17" 7.5J Alloys, thing is a beast :L doesn't get stuck anywhere!

I've changed bulbs a lot for mine and just ordered a conversion kit, mine is H4, i have a polo s A/C but i think most others are H7

With my polo (polo s a/c 1.2) I never really noticed anything until I fitted a sub and amp, after that I've had a few times it's died after having just the engine off but stereo on, only for about 5 minutes though, not long.
