Sadly not.... It's weird that the part for both lists them as being M20x1.5 though. Threads certainly look the same as well.
Quite confused with it really! Thinking maybe get a die nut on the thread in case they are damaged...

Lupo/polo driveshaft nut size
Hello, I've just put an AFH engine in my Lupo and have used one of the driveshafts as well. Fits perfectly, no issues there, but the outer nut on the hub doesn't tighten past half way through the nut. I have tried on 4 polo driveshafts now and same issue on all of them. Works perfectly on the Lupo o...

What gearboxes would fit?
Hello, been doing some research but still at a bit of a loss, what gearbox is the strongest to fit to my AFH engine? Currently in running the standard one that came with it (need to check what code it is) , but do any golf ones fit? Or what is the strongest one to put in? Worried about breaking this...

Re: 1.4 AFH engine - conrod bolts?
They were looking at a '98 Polo which is why they weren't showing - but did on a '95.... Odd, as the car this engine came out of was a 1998 model.
Anyway, £9 odd each! Going to try TPS.

Thanks a lot! Yes it is number 15 that I'm after.... How strange. I rang my local parts yesterday who was unable to see them... I will forward this topic over.

1.4 AFH engine - conrod bolts?
Hello, having a bit of a nightmare trying to find replacement conrod bolts for the 14 16v AFH engine. Does anyone know if there are any ARP ones available / suitable, or if any other VAG engines use the same?
Strangely they're not available direct from VW. Any help appreciated.
Thanks

Re: 6C R Line - Mudflaps
Hi, i'm aware of that. Hence the question being "aware of some mudflaps that fit the R Line" - as I know the VW ones don't. I was more trying to find out if there are any that WILL fit, or if the normal ones could be modified.iichel wrote:mudflaps don't fit because of the sideskirts

Hi, is anyone aware of some mudflaps that fit the R line? Or pictures of one with them on? I can't find any in the threads.

6R - Eibach 25/30 lowering springs
Hi, recently took the springs off my car as preperation for my new car arriving mid-november. They've covered around 12k miles now. I paid £145 and think they still retail for this.
eibach 25/30 lowering springs.
After £50 to be collected from Wigan. Or £50 + buyer to arrange collection.

Re: Instrument Cluster Fault
Hi, speaking from experience it's 100% not a straight swap, it needs to be coded to the immobiliser (which can only be done with dealer software not VCDS). Plus you have to bear in mind that only NEW clusters can easily have the mileage adjusted ( think it's 100 km before it is locked) , and this ca...
