If I have the heater on it stays around 70 if I turn it off it rises to about 100 and keeps rising tons take rad out the weekend and have a look see
as for the bridge thing I thought it was only on the 1.4 coz of the weird shaped thermostat

Changed the thermostat and temp sensor pump seems to be working got flow through top pipe on header tank
But top hose seems hot and bottom seems warm could this be blocked a rad fan switch don't seem to be working so I've been bypassing it so its always on can't seem to get the right part from ...

Overheating problem just wondered if this could be the fix
