Spluttering

Hi all

Have a slight issue with my 6n2 GTI. In the last year it has had new fuel filter, plugs, leads and coil. IN the last 6-8 weeks I have noticed that when pulling up to lights for example, when I accelerate away the car hesitates, almost of if there is a slight blockage, splutters then clears ...

Play in gear lever

My polo is in for clutch this weekend and I thought it a good time to ask the question. When in gear there seems to be alot of "side to side" play in the gear lever. can this be resolved? ive read in a much older post that someone replaced parts 6N0711167A Bellows and 6N0711135 Ball Bush to help ...

Climatronic Fitting

HAPPY FRIDAY!

I am looking at retrofitting a climatronic unit into my early 2000 GTI. It currently has the "twisty knob" setup with a separate air con switch. Would a climatronic unit be a straight swap? Or it that just wishful thinking?

Cheers

6n2 GTI CV BOOTS

Hi guys

Haven't posted on here for a while but thought I would share my experience of changing out my old, worn, split CV boots. Overall job quite simple really I did have to purchase the correct hub nut socket though. Purchased the new CV boots from eurocar parts and they fitted fine.

On the way ...

Re: New member with some problems

I know right, just not nearly as mint. Shame about this scratch though take a closer look and all is not as it seems. How do i tackle this bad boy? Been quoted £300-£1000 by various body shops. One bodyshop quoted £1000 for this scratch and then an extra £400 to respray the door handles , trim ...

Re: New member with some problems

Not sure if this is going to work as I only use flickr for forum images but I'll give it a shot. Finally got round to taking an image of the Polo.

So far I have done the following:

Replaced ABS module
Replaced Camshaft sensor
Replaced 2x ABS Sensors
Replaced front discs and pads
Replaced plugs and ...

Re: New member with some problems

car still running great apart from clutch issue. quick refurbed the wheels over the easter weekend too. cleaned up the centers and polished the outer rim. they arent 100% but a vast improvement over the old grotty, worn look they did have. so after doing a bit of homework the sachs clutch seems to ...

I had the AUQ in my old Octavia VRS. Good strong motor and pulled well after a map especially with the KO3s. BAM internals are a must if you want serious power.
