Re: 2001 GTI 6N2 Brakes

Hi mate, I recently did mine and I just got pagid discs from euros and they are fine, I got black diamond predator pads from venom motorsport which seem pretty good, they have a nice bite, all in all everything is fine. Hope this helps.

Re: Baz's build thread

I'm taking the polo to a show on Monday so I'm hoping to get some pictures when it's nice and shiny. I have done some work on the car over the last few months. Had a problem with both front calipers seizing, both front wheels were getting very hot. I managed to free off the passenger side one and it...

Re: Seized caliper

Hi, just so people are aware, I ordered a Lucas caliper from gsf but it didn't fit, it was too small for the GTi, I did eventually find a genuine GTi one which I ordered from cat automtice so all is well now.

Haha I'm fine with the spanners, I always do all my car work myself, just never done a clutch haha, any idea how much a garage would roughly charge?

No problem mate, I think I got the 'ecu kit' on eBay, I think it was about 100 quid, just make sure you check the part number on your ecu and get one the same if possible
