Re: Standrd 1.8t suspension question - Advice please!

Not a great deal you can do in that respect, apart from avoid the lines on the road! :D

Check your tyre pressures are correct and not over inflated \ tracking and maybe softer compound tyre...

Re: Standrd 1.8t suspension question - Advice please!

The tramline effect is normally down to the size of wheels\tyres used. The bigger the wheel \ thinner tyre wall, the worse it will be in my experience.

Re: Standrd 1.8t suspension question - Advice please!

Thanks for the reply. You are right. The steering is very light, I notice this now after you pointed it out. I could not put my finger on it before. This combined with (in my opinion) overly stiff suspension is the source of the bad handling. Time to ditch the suspension........possibly the motor....

Standrd 1.8t suspension question - Advice please!

Hello everyone. Does anyone else find that the standard factory suspension on the 9n3 polo Gti very harsh and skittish? Ever since owning the car I have found the handling to be terrible. I have had the tracking done, which improved things slightly. But the main issue still remains - the handling is...

Polo 9N3 soft brake pedal

Had the brakes bled and had loads of air in the rears – so much so they should not have worked!
The pedal feel has improved but still feels a bit soft.

Anyone experienced the same issue?

Cheers

Tarox discs and Pads

Has anyone replaced the OEM brakes and pads for the same size aftermarket items such as Tarox?

I am looking at same size discs and pads, just with added bite. Would be interested to hear from anyone who has improved the braking on a 2006 > 9N3 GTI.

Cheers

Are the oem locations marked somehow?
Is there much to wire up, or does it just take a feed from rom the reverse light?

Re: Polo 9n3 gti cup

Very smart looking motor!

Where did you get the Brembo brakes from, and are you using spacers on the 17's?
