Thanks for that, I was hoping/thinking it was something to do with the heat. It's not like there's an easy or clean way to lubricate that area so I'll deal with it for now!

Just joined the forum as I have a Blue GT and wanted to see how other owners are getting on. I quite like it, coming from a Golf Ed30 was a bit of a difference though...anyway I have noticed that both doors have developed a creak when you open them and I've narrowed the source to the wing ...
