Three of the 1.4 TDI engines are in essence (the 75PS AMF found in the 6n and 9n, the 70PS and 80PS found in the 9n3) the same, despite the different engine codes. Ie internals, turbo and ECU. Probably oil pump drive chain snapped - while not common, is a regular enough occurance in Fabias around this age to raise concerns. About 70 - 80K miles by any chance.

Could anyone advise how to remove the high level 3rd brake light on a 60 plate 1.2 SE. There was a suggestion that it was the same as a mk6 Golf, which has pop out clips but a review of the Polo unit suggests that this is not the case. Using the search only appears to detail the 6N procedure.

As there is no power socket fitted in the rear of the car, could someone advise where they are located when fitted so that I can look if the wiring is fitted as standard. I would then be able to tap into it if available.
