Re: 1.4TDI Bluemotion engine differences
Three of the 1.4 TDI engines are in essence (the 75PS AMF found in the 6n and 9n, the 70PS and 80PS found in the 9n3) the same, despite the different engine codes. Ie internals, turbo and ECU. The only difference is the ECU map. . Ash Not sure the maps are different having loaded 70, 75 and 80 maps...

Re: seat ibiza ecomotive 1.4 tdi
Probably oil pump drive chain snapped - while not common, is a regular enough occurance in Fabias around this age to raise concerns. About 70 - 80K miles by any chance.

Re: Brake lights and indicators not working - 03430 - Terminal 30 for Turn Signals and Brake Lights
Car has a mind of its own, 3rd brake light didn't work after replacing fuse but after a drive it started to work, although the "light out" warning light stayed on dash. Talking to daughter, who's car it is, appears that the warning light is now off. I assume that it will have re-set after ...

Re: Brake lights and indicators not working - 03430 - Terminal 30 for Turn Signals and Brake Lights
You were correct Ciclo. While using a multi-meter across the fuse contacts from the outside (the 2 contacts accessed through the face where the rating is marked), there was continuity showing, but pushing the probes in must have been pushing the break in the fuse together, with a current draw throug...

3rd brake light removal
Could anyone advise how to remove the high level 3rd brake light on a 60 plate 1.2 SE. There was a suggestion that it was the same as a mk6 Golf, which has pop out clips but a review of the Polo unit suggests that this is not the case. Using the search only appears to detail the 6N procedure.

Re: Non Canbus power supply for rear parking sensors
As there is no power socket fitted in the rear of the car, could someone advise where they are located when fitted so that I can look if the wiring is fitted as standard. I would then be able to tap into it if available.

Non Canbus power supply for rear parking sensors
I have fitted aftermarket rear parking sensors to my daughters 60 plate 1.2 SE, but the Canbus is obviously not giving the correct voltage for the control unit as I have tapped into the reversing light. Is there an alternate 12V power supply, such as possible standard wiring in place for rear power ...
