Re: Anyone currently waiting on a 6C factory order?
Buffers can do a fantastic job but can also make a mess. I work for a car care company and even I make the odd mistake during testing! Orbital polishers are much easier and won't burn through clear coat. Some of the polishes out there are extremely good at removing swirl marks though. When washing I...

Re: Anyone currently waiting on a 6C factory order?
Great photos, thanks :) Do the radio station logos appear automatically, or do you have to upload them from somewhere? I see you have USB charging cables in the console - where are you putting your phone? The cupholders seem a bit deep and they almost completely mask the screen, at least on my iPho...

Re: Weird equipment deletes on Blue GT
My BlueGT arrived with drawers under both seats already installed. Is this something that was deleted previously and has been added back in?

Re: CarWow.co.uk Discounts on the new Polo (BlueGT)
Hi Tom,
I got a quote using Car Wow then took it in to my preferred VW dealership and they matched it. They were doing them for about £2-2.5k off the list price. Give it a test drive, it's a great car.

Re: Anyone currently waiting on a 6C factory order?
That would require more than just driving it fast you'd have to rag the backside out of it at high revs I reckon. I want to know how to get 100, I've had a 99!

Re: Anyone currently waiting on a 6C factory order?
Nice, haven't seen photos of that trainer thing before. 50mpg from a brand new 150hp petrol engine is astonishing. How do you find the sound from the speakers? The speakers are actually pretty good. I'm getting 52-54mpg out of a brand new engine with a mix of town and motorway. I'm also surprised h...

If the sun is out and the road is quiet you're driving too slow if you've forgotten the car ![Twisted Evil ](./images/smilies/icon_twisted.gif)

Re: Why did you order your Blue GT?
I went into my dealer wanting a Polo GTI. The salesman had a BlueGT and praised it enormously, and majorly convinced me that it was a BlueGT I wanted, not a GTI. I left having ordered a BlueGT, and I had doubts after if that's actually what I really wanted. Having read multiple posts from people on...

Re: Why did you order your Blue GT?
Got mine last night and I love it. The only downside is that it's got the wrong alloys on, so it's going in tomorrow afternoon to get the ones from the showroom model (I wanted black and it has silver). Other than that it's an amazing car, so comfy and quiet and all the lads at work like it. Even th...

Re: My Blue GT MY2015 arrived!
I'm picking mine up this week (between Wednesday and Friday, it's currently on a transport lorry) and was told the new engines don't need much of a running in and cn be given the beans from the off. I'm guessing this isn't true?98octaneblood wrote:4.100 Km and everything goes OK. Time to go beyond 4.500 rpm

Are these H7's? I usually upgrade my bulbs as soon as I get the car.... Me too. Already ordered a pair of these in readiness for delivery: http://www.powerbulbs.com/uploads/images/products/Philips-X-treme-Vision-130-H7-Headlight-Bulb-Pack-Shot_480_480.jpg How much you get them for? Re: Why did you order your Blue GT?
The snazzy blue seats in the BGT are one of the reasons I went for it. I think they add a touch of originality and are not OTT. I can't understand why anyone would want the Alcantara, especially at €1000  I agree, love the interior. I can understand getting the alcantara if you buy the ibiza...

Re: Why did you order your Blue GT?
Mine arrives on Friday next week and I'm so excited. I ordered one as it allows me to have a relatively quick car with some reasonable mpg for it. I've always wanted a golf/polo gti but I do far too many miles for it to be economically feasible. It's also quite a rare car on the road compared to say...

My wife picked up her 1.2tsi SE in Mayan Blue last Friday. You really won't regret the better engine, it's great fun to drive and I prefer it to my golf.

Re: Silver or Anthracite?
Nice. Does the armrest get in the way of the handbrake? It's ok in my golf as that's an auto handbrake but in my wifes polo it looks like it'd get in the way.
