Update :
Appears the gearbox is actually really good. Only bought this car because I wanted a few bits off it. Whatever I don't use will only go to the scrap man so I will only ask a little for the left over parts. I would prefer cash on collection as you can check and be happy with the parts before ...

Y reg GTI in reflex silver 4 door all parts available.
Engine runs great possible gearbox problem. Ideally I want to sell engine as a conversion, so full loom ecu and immobiliser etc don't really want to split.
