thanks for the reply smurftech, interestingly i've just had a call from my dealer, swindon (inchape) and my car is due for a recall, not too sure on the criteria for this mines an August 2014 plate in black 3 door, the only detail they can give me is something around the ECU and a bit of a shaky clu...

proud to say i've just collected by new 2014 bluegt in black! I must say i do find myself getting frustrated with the on/off 'eco' mode and how inconsistent it seems to be and i consider myself to be a relatively smooth driver and not heavy on the accelerator.
