Yes you will. THe stock speakers are pretty cheap paper jobbys. The DSP can be added later or ignored.

Haven't got round to the rears yet, its always a nightmare on a 3 door. Just used the DSP to tune them so they don't spoil the focals.

I fitted new speakers (Focals) along with a Match DSP (wich also made adding a sub a breeze. Then tuned with a mic. Difference is unbelievable. Really easy to install too.

The mirror is controlled by the CMS (touch screen) so no buttons.

No idea on the airbag, but you always need to be careful when making changes to that system.

Out of interest has anyone had issues with the start/stop system? I know there are certain conditions where it isn't activated (such as if the engine isn't up to temperature, driver not wearing seatbelt or if you're on a hill) but a number of times mine has stopped working with the message 'engine ...

Anyone got a copy of the fuse layout? my 12v socket is dead and I cant find its fuse!

I actually changed mine to every 15 times using VCDS. It used a stupid amount of washer fluid. Had to fill the damn thing every week!

No it's a crutial part of the engine design. You can turn off the notification but not the actual function. The car CO2 rating is done with it being part of the engine.

Pretty sure carplay blocks navigation apps. Saying that I would kill to get carplay on my 2014 Polo
