Hi Danny and JB,
So very pleased to stumble over both your posts as i've been speaking with my local Dealer (Lookers, Silverlink) and VW Customer service over App Connect today.
Two very conflicting sides of the story so far. Currently I have VW Customer service telling me that my car is ...

Re: Polo 6C rear number plate lights
Final result if anyone is interested. Super pleased with them as they make the whole rear end look so much more crisp and fresh at night.
Cheers again,
Al

Polo 6C rear number plate lights
Hi guys hoping you's lot can help,
I'm attempting to change over the standard halogen units to LED units. Quite common practice among 6R's I believe but it seems difficult to do on the 6C as mountings and power sockets have been changed (see below pictures for the difference between 6R and 6C units ...

Looks fantastic mate. I'm also working on an exhaust tip but it's great to see what it actually looks like!

6C SE 1.2 TSI in Deep Black
Hi gang,
After the 6 month wait for the car, I'm just over 2 weeks into owning it and absolutely love it. Ticks all the right boxes for me, exactly what I need, plus a little more!
Thought I'd share the joy anyway.
Cheers,
Al

Re: 6C BlueGt clutch release bearing
I've also heard of other 6C owners having a similar issue actually. They aren't on this forum but from what i've heard it's usually rectified of the bearings being replaced. Apparently it sounds horendous!

@Daveb73 - I couldnt agree more with your reccomendation. I have the same beliefs that tickiling it along for 1k miles will do more bad than good and you have to give it at least something but not everything, all of the time.

Hhah. Cracking analogy that.
Yeah for sure that's exactly what I had planned too. Feel sorry for the engines at the mercy of owners who just don't really care!!

First 1k Miles - Engine break in
Hi there,
So after the longest wait ever i'll be picking up my 6C on Sunday 1st March, Horay!
I've read from some sources that the first 1k miles should be taken easy as the engine is breaking in etc which is completely understandable and the view that I would take.
However i've also heard some ...

Re: 6R / 6C Wind Deflectors
Thanks again guys for all the advice and pictures posted. Been a massive help!
I'm going to keep well away from anything that involved nasty metal clips etc. Going to work on this and get something ordered soon as I think they really compliment the car.
Again,
Big thanks for your help.

Looking into using some on a 3 door, Would be great to know if anyone has used them before and if you found them to be of benefit.
If so where the hell did you get them?! Absolute minefield out there!!
Cheers,
Al
