my vw beetle based karmann ghia from 1966 has an igniton live for the horn

i can try. i'll need a scan with the old ecu and matching cluster in place please. we'll try to code that first. then we try the new ecu.

you'll probably need to connect the old ecu when you attempt abs coding and when it's successful, put in the new ecu

that's a shame. did you take notice of your factory abs coding? can you tell some more about what you did to the cluster and ecu to make it all work?

can you please post the advanced id of the immobiliser (module 25) and engine (module 01)?

i can code it to be on all the time on my mqb passat. which is a huge PITA when you're working on the steering wheel and something goes wrong

i think it's normal behaviour for the polo 6r. horn only works with ignition on. on the 6c i think you can change the coding/adaptation in the bcm, like on many mqb cars.
