Re: Retrofit "MFSW" for POLO 6C, 2015 [help]

You'll need to go to a VW dealer to get the component protection removed and all the SWAP functions re-activated as far as the BCM and gateway go.

Re: ciclo's Polo. R-line 1.2 TSI 90hp 119gr.

Nothing to say, just a very big thank you for all the things you've done to your car, to your own imagination, knowledge, tools, Spanglish language ( , it's great to see your English change along the pages of the topic) and the community. And a very big thanks for showing us what you've done,...

Re: Slowly losing coolant

Yes water pump is the main suspect, when mileage is high (200.000km range). Otherwise the egr might be leaking internally, this is common as well. Head gaskets don't often blow in these engines.

Re: Do I really need this?

I would be in favour. These fluids age and do not particularly depend on mileage.

Re: New member: Jasper's Red Polo 6R from Belgium

Hi Jasper, sorry to hear it still doesn't work. Do you have any access to VCDS? Can you post an autoscan? Do you have a compatible telephone? (I'm assuming your phone is fine, just making sure)

Re: Passanger Rear Caliper Seized - help buying new one

Left hand side parts usually have uneven numbers while the right hand side parts usually have the even numbers. A/B/C can indicate a different variety (colour, size, position, shape or newer/more luxurious version).

Re: Passanger Rear Caliper Seized - help buying new one

The PR is 1KV and the part number for the GTI left hand side rear caliper is 6Q0615423B. The non-red has PR 1KK. I'm not sure they are interchangeable.

Whether they apply to the Polo 9N3, I'm not sure. WIll update this as soon as I researched this properly.

Re: From where take the CAN signal (+/-) [Polo 6c 2015]

I would say, there is none very close to the rear. Since you're doing 8K pdc, front and rear, you might as well get it from i.e. engine ECU or BCM or AFS module (if installed). Other options are airbag ECU or power steering.

Re: Using screen wash after De-wipering rear window

if you want to do it really nicely, find a stalk of a transporter t5 or similar without the rear washer option on the right hand lever.
