Yes, that does seem a lot to pay for 15hp

Re: 6C Blue GT BSR Remap first impressions

Interesting thread. I removed my DTUK box a few weeks ago, as I will be selling the Polo soon. Can't really say I've missed it, TBH. Still have a few questions, though :) Is this BSR system a remap, ie no permanent hardware? Are you offered different settings, like with the DTUK box? What are the cl...

Re: Your opinion on Under bonnet Insulation

For some reason, the Blue GT can sound a bit like a diesel when cold, so I removed the felt and put some Dynamat Xtreme behind it. Made a big difference.

Re: To all Blue GT owners

All ordered standard blue gt in White, dealer reckons that he should be able to get me one within a month says he has found 2 that have just been built so hoping to grab one of those :) Congrats and good call on the white. It's the best colour, IMHO - discreet, but those in the know will be able to...

Re: To all Blue GT owners

I have owned more than 30 cars in my lifetime, ranging from a Daewoo Matiz to a Jaguar XKR. I can honestly say the BGT is in my top 3 favourites, and certainly nicer to own and drive than the Mk6 Golf GTI I had a few years ago. It's comfortable, powerful (enough), well built, good looking, compact, ...

Yes, as stated in my eBay ad', this is for the 140 (6R) and 150hp (6C) engines. My BGT is the 6C, so no worries.

Re: 7 month old Blue GT suspension issue

How weird. I removed the rear wheels when my Feb 15 BGT was new to fit spacers and didn't notice anything like that happening.

I really just want a suddle one. Like it could just be a whole sticker piece in the same colour as the car. With no graphics.
Well, it's all down to personal taste, I guess :)

Re: Sunstrip stickers

Better still, why not preserve both your Paypal account and your car's appearance by not getting one. IMHO, they look terrible.

Re: Sunglasses Holder and Exhaust Trim fitted

Second sunglasses case - with the correct clips - arrived yesterday. I used a pair of needle-nose pliers to remove the grab handle and then just pushed the case into place. Perfect fit, good quality. The only slight annoyance (first-world problem..? ) is that the return spring/damper isn't qu...

Re: Blue gt, old headlights

I was also told that the unavailability of the LED lights on the BGT could be due to emissions regulations. Quite ironic with the benefit of hindsight :D

Re: Blue gt, old headlights

Even stranger: why is it the only model in the entire range that can't have the factory-fit LED light option?

I had a Revo map on my Mk6 Golf GTI a few years ago and didn't like it at all. Made the car feel very 'messed with'.
