Re: Selling Blue Gt Montani alloys

It's silver, but it's more which set will sell better/ get a better price for. Obviously I will keep the most valuable/ higher demand set & stick them on eBay.

I can't decide which set I prefer, which is why I hung onto both in the first place!

What's people's opinions/ what colour did they go for.

Selling Blue Gt Montani alloys

Hi Guys,

I am just about to trade in the blue Gt and have a set of anthracite and a set of silver montani alloys. One of which will go with the car & one which I will sell separately.

Both sets are immaculate both having done less than 5 k each. Question is which do you think I will get most for ...

Lowering springs - experiences?

Hi all,

So had the blue Gt 15 months and the arch gap is still driving me nuts.

Have looked at the VWR springs to avoid warranty issues, but wondering on people's experiences with lowering. I have never lowered before and would only be doing it to remove the arch gap so is this a silly idea?

Does ...

I have had my 2015 Blue GT from new & love it it. Isn't perfect, have only just got rid of window squeaks thanks to some gummi pflege. The rear suspension groans like an 80 year as you ...

Re: 7 month old Blue GT suspension issue

Rum4mo
Yes I did use a trolley jack, no idea how it came off, a bit scary to be honest but there you go, at least I know enough not to get under the car without jack stands.

The handbrake was on, would this have had anything to do with the suspension not compressing?
Didn't notice the other side ...

7 month old Blue GT suspension issue

Hi Guys,

Changed my alloys to the winter alloys today.
All going well until I jacked the drivers rear side up, just as I got it high enough to get the wheel off, the car fell off the jack, not fun but the spare was underneath as a back up and the wheel was still attached at that point. Problem was ...

Re: Anyone purchased with drive the deal

I got my Blue GT through Drive the Deal in April following a nightmare with my local VW dealer.

Can only say they were fabulous. ended up with a dealer in Kent, I am in South Wales, they would deliver via a driver for free but I paid for a trailered delivery. Communication was excellent.

I saved ...

Hi Jammydodger

How much are you wanting for them?

What sort of condition are they in and what are the tyres like?

Boavista alloys

I am looking for a set of winter alloys as although I love my Blue GT alloys they are a PITA to keep clean and being extremely particular about the car I know I wouldn't be able to keep them clean enough during the winter salt on the roads.

I was looking for a set of Boavista alloys but can't find ...

Re: Reflection in door mirror

Funny you should post this up, I was wondering what to do about it yesterday!

I agree it's dangerous, you cannot use the drivers mirror at all due to the reflection. I was thinking tinted film to darken the bulb on the lights switch but it will look naf.

Alternatively would it be possible to take ...
