wheels, doin my nut in

OK, so after much deliberation, not going to refurb my BBS's just yet - want to get something new and euro styly. Think i've decided on TH monos (yeah,...know its not a first!), but what size can i get away with? Really wanna get 16"s so i can justify the outlay - but can i get away with them? ...

vdub stealers can be just as bad as normal garages - sometimes even worse as they know all the short cuts! Just my opinion but i 'reckon your best bet is it to use one thats been recommended by a pal - vw or otherwise. Luckily my mate owns his own garage......such a weight off my mind i tell ya (aft...

okay,....i'm guessing i'm a little older than most as my first car was a FIAT Supermirafiori. It was a rear wheel drive, twin webber'd beauty. It'd still have one if they hadn't all disintegrated by now. Remember many a time being stopped by the cops - the most memorable was where they said i'd gone...

Yeah, i agree with the general consensus that you should be looking at about £250 - £300 quid for an independant to fit you a SACHs clutch.

Mine was £230 but its a mate's garage.

- and yeah, i wish i got 70k out of my first clutch......managed about 40k

ATS Cups

Couple of questions -

1. Anybody like the ATS cups or is it just me........mates 'reckon they're ugly but i think they'll look good on the GTi? (yes my BBS wheels are beginning to corrode fast!!)

2. ............would they fit straight on,...and anybody know of a good place to get them from?
