Hi all, just wanted to say thanks for the info and apologies for the lack of replies though I have been reading and adding your points to group discussions on the mag. We spent a few hours sat around a table last night discussing what ideas and contributions we had been given for the mag, and we've ...

New car mag possibility - your input required

As you may or may not know I'm doing a postgraduate Journalism course at Cardiff University. Part of my course is a practical session where we will get to produce our own magazine. I will hopefully be starting a car mag with some fellow Journalism students, to go into full production in the new year...

It is technically illegal, but I know lots of people who have done it/still do it.

Considering how extortionate it is insuring a car it's hardly surprising, I only did this for a year on mine.

Just say it's your Mum's car, if she's prepared to stand up and say it is what can they do?

Make sure you're sat down when you call Autoglass for a quote.

£116 plus fitting for the front quarterlight.

£180 plus window cost to fit the three windows that some pikey t**t smashed on my car the other week.

They are anything but cheap.

1. BMW alloys I have seen done, what is the offset you're looking at? 2. G40 brake conversion - you will need calipers, carriers, caliper and carrier bolts and the metal sliders for the pads. Get yourself new pads and discs. The rest is plug and play, I did my swap myself about 4 years ago. If you'v...

I dunno, it's a strange one, the bolsters on the backrest of the seat are actually smaller than Polo GT ones, but because of the way they are designed they're way more supportive.

The smaller bolsters may help?

They do fit straight in, and they sit about 2-3 inches lower than the standard GT seats.

Both the driver and passenger seats are adjustable, so I just have them sat as close to the floor as possible.

They're very comfy too! :D

That's for when you need to renew the photo.

The licence itself should run out the day before your 70th birthday (check section 14 on the back)
