theres no "probably" about getting a new inlet manifold. the carbs dont fit the standard one.

would stick 20-25bhp ontop of standard, handful of torque.

the valves are manifold vacuum driven. vacuum is at its greatest at idle and part throttle, and at its least at wide open throttle.

based on that alone it cannot increase bhp, since its only active at crusing speed.

your gonna need in the region of a genuine 90bhp to reach a genuine 115mph. no debate. a car with 45bhp is gonna reach an aerodynamically limited top speed of about 80-85.

getting someone else to sit next to you in another car proves one thing alone, their speedo is overreading too.
