Re: New GTI

Hi all! Been a while since I've been on here. So long that I'm already due my first service!

With that in mind, I went to my local VW and was quoted £189 for what is essentially just an oil change which seems a bit much to me

Thoughts anyone? or is this actually the standard rate? Online ...

Re: New GTI

Anyone have a ballpark figure of how much a respray would cost? I'm assuming I'll need a full respray so that all body panels ...

Re: New GTI

Hi guys, some bad news.

Someone has keyed my car all over on almost every body panel (even the fuel cover!). The scratches seem quite deep, almost as if my car has white lines. I don't have any pictures because I just couldn't bring myself to look at the scratches again. I now try avoid looking at ...

Bridgestone Potenza RE050.
How are you finding them?

I've been given Continentals, anyone had anything else?

Re: Old Noobie

Welcome Josh! And congrats on your new order

I was actually originally looking at an Abarth before the GTI but I really needed the extra space and doors so opted for the Polo in the end. I too didn't drive the GTI before placing my order (as i'm sure many others also the same) but you wont be ...

Re: New GTI

Took the car in yesterday and waited for it....
Technician went out in the car to test, then into workshop, then back out on road, then back into workshop. Service advisor then came and told me it was a stone lodged between the disc rotar and cover. Technician back out in car, back into ...

That's one journey.. How about long term and since refuelling??

Around 33-35mpg

Nice,

Got any more pictures of your car?? Be good to see some!

Thanks

Not at the moment since it's looking quite dirty from the rain. This black car is proving difficult to maintain :(

Re: New GTI

The LEDs are great! They're super bright and look fantastic. I love seeing them in reflections

Haven't had any cars with xenons before so can't really compare but I'm extremely pleased with these lights :D
