Did you fit the coilovers yourself?

I have been told there is a special tool you need to undo top mounts???

Been quoted £80 from garage to fit, but if i can save this by doing myself i will do.

Is the above good to go?

Seen some springs + shocks on ebay at a good price, they lower front and back 80mm, but don't want to but unless i no i aint going to get any issues?

Also how easy are springs to fit (are they the same process as fitting coilovers?)

Any help would be much appreciated ...

Lookin for a Polo 6N or a 6N2.

Would love for them to be EURO looking with 60 - 70K on clock.

Not concerned on colour or engine size.

Have 2K cash waiting for any in east midlands or surrounding areas.

You cant supercharge a gt engine the thing aint strong enough,engine in g40 is built to with stand more power

i got mine lowered 35mil allround on springs at Wheelworx in mansfield when i got my alloys fitted, i think lowering springs and fitting was around £180,

If you can see this then that is 35mil

M7 gave me a good pic of his car lowered 35-40mil

so does anyone know which light wattage i need? I need to replace this light soon as, its the light that sits closest to the grill, i think its the lightbulb at the top of round hole, that make sense?

m7, that happened to me about putting my old ones back in, the guy at VW said that i had some clips missing while i changed them, so mine dont si very well neither

Around 2 months ago i swithched on my headlights to find that i had lost one of the dipped bulbs, I replaced both dipped bulbs and for the next 2 months all my lights worked fine.

A couple of days ago when i got home from work i noticed that one of my side lights had blown, i was'nt very impressed ...
