9 times out of 10 the garage would rather do the prep themselves, no offence but that is their area of work, if people want to do their own prep they cant winge if it looks s**t!

anyway if it's a new bumper it shouldn't need much prep and therefore wont really affect the cost

I reckon around £150 ...

but once she's finished in a few weeks i doubt i'll be doing anymore mods for a year, i'll probs only be able to maintain her (£££....)

and it is quite a big difference in price between the two. i think if there was a difference of about £50-100 i might not dispute it. but £200 is quite a lot ...
