I swapped mine over and the radio fits much better. As i still have the cubby slot, with the radio in the upper slot it was bending the cubby ever so slightly but it really bugged so me i swapped them and it works much better.

i have a clifford alarm on my 9n. however it conflicts with the central locking.

if i push the door lock button on the drivers arm the door locks and then unlocks straight away. As far as the button id concerend the doors are locked but the alarm "brains" and the Car "brains" are fighting against ...

my local Car alarm shop says i do but the only way to test it is with a crow bar and wrenching the doors off. there are no sensors in the car for this type of alram though so windows open and waving your arms inside just makes you look mad to the neighbours.............

it might have an alarm but you dont know about it. My april 04 twist has an alarm which sets when i lock the doors, with the key - no remote either, but i have been told it only goes off if someone forces the door open, not if a winbdow breaks etc.....however, seeing as the doors have deadlocks its ...

Well i found shouting helped!!!!

I turned off the ignition, fiddled by pressing the buttons, in the hope that the harder i pressed, the stronger the message might get through to it!!!!

after a few on/offs of the ignition they reset which is how i see most poeple do it.........

My worst time was driving into the car wash, lowering the window to hit the "GO" button and then............you guessed it. Fortunatly no -one behind so i calmy reversed out and used every German Swearword i know!

I did think about the centre dash, but am quite tempted by the cubby box i have seen on here...........

Must be a fault common to VW leccy windows.

I have had 3 golfs, and a Polo before my current 04 twist and had the same problem with each car.

Only occured once or twice and turning the ignition off for a bit and the back on cured it.......

Got a new Polo Twist, well picking it up next saturday, and now get a chance to start planning where to install all the toys.

Where have people found the most suitable location to secure a multidisk player in the boot or is there space to put it elsewhere?

Also looking for suggestions ...

I have just bought an 04 twist which has a Beta R/C in it. I have a Sony CD multiplayer. Are they compatible and if not who makes the beta so i can buy a mulitplay to go with the head unit.

Just ordered a Twist with a Beta R/C. I want to add my Sony Multiplay unit to it but if that proves too dear as Sony are funny about sharing their goods with other manufacturers, i will buy a multiplay that is if the same make as the head unit. Hope that makes sense to someone......
